Our Mission
The mission of the Thornton Middle School Library Media Center is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.
The school library is an integral part of our school academic program. The school library supports the core educational curricula, supports reading and literacy in all students, and teaches patrons how to locate, evaluate, synthesize and effectively use information. The Library Media Center program is centered on the idea of fostering student achievement by providing an atmosphere for seeking and utilizing information. We strive to create a community of life-long learners.

Rules
1. Books are checked out for two weeks.
2. Magazines are checked out for one week.
3. You may renew any book by bringing it to the Library.
4. Enjoy food, drinks, or gum in the Lunch Room.
